Fashion Icons: I Never Liked Darrin.

There are many fashion icons the world agrees on. 
They come up in the annals of fashion time and time again.

I have an unlikely name I would like to add to the list. 
She was my fashion icon when I was but a child.
To me, she is Old School Carrie or The OGFI (Original Gangster Fashion Icon)

I loved Samantha Stephens on Bewitched. 
I thought she was the hippest mom alive. 
She always looked amazing even as Endora, Dr. Bombay and Serena 
wreaked havoc around her. 
And I'll now confess, I never much liked her husband Darrin. 
I thought he was an ass.


For me....Samantha was IT. The cat's proverbial meow.

    You are right, her style is spectacular! These photos make me want to rent some dvd's of the show and watch them tonight:) aren't old tv shows the best? lovely post my dear!!

    she looks so familiar although I'm not sure at all if I even know her from TV or magazines etc. I like the old photos though :)

    OGFI! I love it hahaha. Wasn't Darren gay in real life? I gotta think of my OGFI, probably Natalie Wood. Thats who first comes to mind, and Jackie O and Maria Felix, ok Im done.

    Thanks for stopping by my blog. Your blog is really cool...especially this post. In designing, I find that my best inspirations comes from the fashion from decades beyond my age and this post shows exactly that.     Just finished watching re-runs of Bewitched - with the old and the new (later) Darrin. First one was way better IMO. Scriptwriters for series after the second Darrin joined were crap. Some really poor shows/plots. Samantha redeemed them mostly, with great outfits to boot!
