Tip of the Day: Tops as Dresses

An oversized top or your man's shirt—depending on its length and your height—can be repurposed and worn as a dress or tunic.

The two MUST-Follow rules:
1. Know what length looks  best on you.
2. Make sure it doesn't look like a shirt worn as a dress!

  1. Lol...I love those two rules. I've seen so many wrong ways of wearing shirts as dresses. It can look REALLY tacky if it's not done right. I'm glad you shared those two rules, though...they truly are lifesavers ;)

  2. And if you're wearing a long shirt over leggings, remember the cardinal rule, "Leggings are NOT pants!". Make sure your shirt is long enough to cover your bum - PLEASE, for my eyes sake.

  4. I'm a fan of tops/shirts worn as dresses, especially in the summer. but I also think it's very important to know what suits you and not to wear way too short things :P
